Symphony Orchestra Tour 2026

Melbourne Grammar School

After sold out performances in 2022, the Melbourne Grammar School Symphony Orchestra returns to Sale this December for a thrilling night of music. The 90-piece orchestra will fill The Wedge with a program including concerto movements by Mozart, Haydn and Sarasate, as well as favourite orchestral works by Mussorgsky and John Williams' beloved score from Harry Potter.

The orchestra will also present an hour-long daytime concert especially for school students, which will include The Midnight Tram, a brand new work for narrator, animation and orchestra based on Mitchell Toy's picture book of the same name.

This is a free event for the community, but please reserve your free ticket to guarantee entry.

Schools and groups wishing to book the 11am performance should contact the Box Office on 03 5143 3200 or email box.office@wellington.vic.gov.au.
