The Air Force Big Band is the Air Force's 17-piece Swing and Jazz ensemble. Step back in time to the golden age of the ‘Swing Era’ with your Air Force Big Band! Performing hits of the 1940’s from famous bands such as Count Basie, Duke Ellington and vocal stylings reminiscent of The Andrews Sisters. Comprised of some of Australia’s finest jazz and contemporary musician’s the Air Force Big Band will take you on a musical mystery flight from the classic ‘Big Band Sound’ and arriving in a more modern destination you may have heard in a video game or on your mobile phone…a journey not to be missed!
