Table Read - Irish Goodbye

THURSDAY 3 APRIL at 7:00PM
Join us for a script-in-hand table read of Irish Goodbye, a new Australian play by Melesa Eldred, currently in development. This informal reading is a vital part of the creative process ahead of the play’s full production in October 2025.
Actors will be reading from scripts, seated with minimal movement. There will be no set, lighting, costumes or technical elements. This is an opportunity to hear the play out loud, experience the story in its raw form, and support the work as it continues to grow.
About the play:
Misha
and her friends have been through it all – long nights, big laughs, and
plenty of wine-fuelled poker games. But even the closest of friendships
have their secrets. As Misha wrestles with a life-changing decision, she
holds her cards close to her chest, waiting for the right moment to
reveal her hand. When the truth finally comes out, will the group’s bond
be enough to carry them through?
First developed through Scratch Night #2 in 2023, Irish Goodbye is a heartfelt story about friendship, honesty, and the courage it takes to tell the truth.
